Install the Yahoo! Mail Notifier extension
Latest Version (Firefox [0.9 to 3.0], Mozilla 1.7.12, Netscape [8.x, 9.0], SeaMonkey [1.x, 2.x], Flock)
The latest version can also be found on the
Mozilla official extension site a day or two after the release.
Installation instructions:
- If using Mozilla/SeaMonkey, uninstall the extension using the directions below before installing.
- Install the latest version of the extension by clicking on the link above.
- If a warning bar displays at the top of the browser. Select "Edit Options" and choose allow and repeat previous step.
- The Software Installation dialog should appear. Select
Install Now to install the extension.
- Close all browser windows, and then restart the browser.
Uninstallation instructions:
- For Mozilla/SeaMonkey, right click on the envelope icon in status bar and click uninstall and follow prompts.
- For other browsers, open extension window and right click on the "Yahoo! Mail Notifier" entry and choose "Uninstall".
- Close all browser windows, and then restart the browser.
